GeoPrism is open to and encourages article submissions from contributors with an interest in international affairs and geopolitics, including students, graduates, early-career researchers, journalists, academics and policy professionals. We invite well researched, original analysis to a growing audience interested in global politics and security.
The guidelines for article are submissions are as follows:
- Typical length of 700-1500 words
- Submissions should be an original piece of analysis that hasn’t previously been published elsewhere
- Clear analytical focus rather than opinion-led commentary
- Evidence-based arguments, with sources where appropriate
- Use of AI tools must be disclosed and cited like any other source
- Articles should aim to answer a question. Ideally, the title of your submission should be a question which is explored in the article

- In-depth analysis pieces
- Explainers on complex geopolitical issues
- Region-specific briefings
- Carefully argued forward-looking assessments
All submissions are reviewed by the GeoPrism editorial team. This process may include:
- Light structural or stylistic edits
- Clarification of arguments or sourcing
- Fact-checking where necessary
We ask contributors to include a brief author bio of a few sentences and a short pitch outlining their proposed submission.
GeoPrism currently operates on a voluntary contributor basis and does not offer payment for article submissions. Contributors retain copyright to their work. By submitting an article for publication, authors allow GeoPrism to publish, edit, archive, and promote the article on its website and social media channels.
